Within a few hours we assign one of our vetted local Checkers. They confirm the time, contact the landlord or agent on your behalf, and show up on the day.
They go and check
A full 5 to 10 minute video walkthrough. Up to 30 photos. They run a checklist covering natural light, noise, signs of damp, hot water and neighbourhood feel, and look for scam indicators such as no keys on site, rushed signing pressure, or inconsistent paperwork.
You read the report
Usually within 3 hours of the viewing. A clear verdict of Recommend, Caution or Avoid, a scam risk score, the full media gallery, and an honest written summary. Then you decide.
How does Checked send someone to view an apartment for me?
Booking a Checked viewing takes under two minutes. You paste the listing URL from any Dutch rental platform, select a time window, and add specific questions you want the Checker to answer. Checked matches the booking to a vetted local resident in the same city. The Checker contacts the landlord or agent, confirms attendance, and travels to the property on the agreed day. During the visit they record a continuous video walkthrough, photograph every room and the building exterior, complete a 30 point inspection checklist, and flag any signs of fraud or misrepresentation. The full report lands in your Checked account within a few hours of the viewing. It includes a written verdict with a Recommend, Caution, or Avoid rating, a scam risk score, and the complete photo and video gallery. You then decide whether to proceed with the lease.
